Oliver Cox

 

Oliver Cox completed his training contract at Manches LLP in 2009 and joined Charles Fussell & Co LLP shortly thereafter.

 

Oliver specialises in domestic and multi-jurisdictional commercial dispute resolution, having gained significant experience in Manches’ Litigation department. Oliver’s specific experience includes contractual and shareholder disputes, injunctive relief (including domestic and multi-jurisdictional freezing orders), banking and insurance disputes and fraud litigation.

 

Examples of Oliver’s matters include:

 

  • disputes following a multinational bank’s alleged breach of loan facility agreements;
  • fraud & recovery proceedings following the fraudulent conduct of company directors;
  • advising on contractual disputes for Central Asian oil and gas developers;
  • an inter-insurer dispute following alleged professional negligence; and
  • restitution proceedings between an investment trust and its former investment manager.

  • GDL/LPC (Commendation), Nottingham Law School 2005-2007;
  • Trainee Solicitor, Manches LLP, 2007-2009;
